its finally done. i wish it hadn't taken so bloody long. i had tried several approaches to making a decent background for this...
i wanted to have them standing in the milld of an old worn down church with a big hole in the wall and light shining through with aya in the light, and mallin in the darkness, but it seems i'm not a good enough artist yet to pull it off. i tried my best and it didn't turn out, so at the last minute, i screwed it all and spent the last six hours putting this together really fast.
almost all of the components in this picture were done in ms paint with a mouse, so i'm a little worn out now, but it's finally done, and i am happy with the finished product. it's now five in the morning on saturday, and though i started to finish on friday, it seems things didn't quite work out as i had planned.
i may no longer be eligible for the contest, but it wouldn't matter a bit to me. what matters is that it's done, and i love it, and thats more than enough reward for me! ^_^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
join the "FABLES AND CHILD BOOKS" Contest! you can win a 6 months subscription! any art mediums allowed! please read the news for the rules, and it spread the word about this contest!
